"Hi, I'm Syd.

In 2016 I got my first Crested Geckos. As I did more research, I found myself in love with the Super Dal morph. They were very expensive at the time and I set out to start breeding them. In late 2019, as I just started breeding, I unexpectedly rescued two Crested Geckos with severe MBD, Lip and Croc. Lip had a very bad case of floppy jaw and I decided to put her down and concentrate on her brother as she had zero quality of life. I knew at that moment that breeding wasn't what I wanted to do anymore.

My true goal is to bring awareness to Metabolic Bone Disease in reptiles. If I can prevent one reptile from getting this terrible disease, then I have accomplished my goal."

Anna

"Anna took one of our first handling sessions. It was clear from her interaction that she loved the reptiles and would be the perfect fit for our foundation. Anna started working with us in 2021 and is currently our lead reptile handler in 2022. She will soon be supervising new volunteers at our rescue.

We hope Anna will continue her great work at Mighty Gecko Galaxy for years to come!"

"Hi, my name is Anna.

I love animals and have always wanted to work with them. When the opportunity to work with Mighty Gecko Galaxy popped up, I tried it out and have since learned a lot about reptiles. I also have pets of my own and have met many different animals. I am still working for Mighty Gecko Galaxy because there are new things every time, and the reptiles are just too funny! My favorite part about working with Syd is gaining more knowledge and being exposed to many different kinds of reptiles. What I wish to accomplish during my time here is to pass on my new knowledge to others, and bring others happiness with the animal they choose to adopt or foster."
